Working with Me
Before we start working together, here’s everything worth knowing: how the process works, how long things take, how payments are handled, and what happens if things change. No surprises.
-
Small and mid-sized businesses that are ready to take their digital experience seriously. I've worked with businesses across healthcare, finance, telecom and housing. If your customers interact with your business online and something isn't working the way it should, we should talk.
-
If something feels off but you can't pinpoint it, start with Let's Take a Look. It's a 60-minute session designed for exactly that moment. If you already know there's a bigger problem and you want a structured review, What Your Customers See is the right fit. If you're ready to redesign the whole experience end to end, From First Click to Loyal Customer is where we go deep. Not sure?
Just reach out and we'll figure it out together.
-
Every service you complete with me is credited toward the next one. The $197 session fee from Let's Take a Look applies to either of the larger services. The full fee from What Your Customers See applies toward the full transformation. Credits are valid for 90 days from the date of each service.
-
Not much. A short intake form captures everything I need to scope the work. If you have existing data — website analytics, customer feedback, anything that shows where people are getting stuck — that's always useful, but not required.
-
Let's Take a Look is one 60-minute session.
What Your Customers See takes about two weeks from kick-off to delivery.
From First Click to Loyal Customer runs four to six weeks depending on the complexity of your operation.
-
Let's Take a Look is paid in full before the session.
What Your Customers See is paid in full before work begins.
From First Click to Loyal Customer is split 50/50 — half upfront to confirm the start date, half before final delivery.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
-
For Let's Take a Look, you can reschedule with 24 hours notice or cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before the session. For the larger services, cancellation terms are outlined in the service agreement you'll sign before we start.
-
Yes. Confidentiality is mutual — everything you share stays between us, and that's built into every service agreement.
-
Yes — accessibility is built into everything I do, not added at the end. I follow WCAG guidelines to make sure your digital experience works for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or assistive technologies. For small businesses this also matters practically — accessible websites tend to perform better in search and reduce legal risk.
-
I'm based in the Washington DC metro area and work in person with local businesses across DC, Maryland and Virginia. For businesses outside the area, I work remotely — the process is exactly the same.
About my Work
The work, the thinking behind it, and what I can and can’t share. Some projects are under NDA, some are personal explorations: all of them reflect how I actually approach a problem.
-
A mix of UX projects spanning product design, research, and interaction design. Some are client work, others are personal explorations. But all of them reflect how I think through problems and arrive at solutions.
-
Both. Some are live products I’ve worked on professionally, others are case studies or passion projects. Each one is labelled so you know what you’re looking at.
-
Some work is under NDA and I can only share so much. Where I can, I try to walk through the thinking: the messy middle, not just the final screens.
-
Sometimes, yes. If you’re curious about a specific type of project or industry, just get in touch and I’m happy to share more in a conversation.
-
When there’s something worth adding. I’d rather have fewer, better-presented projects than a long list of half-documented work.
-
You’re welcome to draw inspiration. That’s what portfolios are for. Just don’t reproduce or repurpose anything without asking first.
